Santa Cross stitch Kit Christmas Card

This card of a Santa Claus stuck in the chimney was designed to add a little fun to the festive season.  As a child I always thought Santa must become stuck in the chimney, I worried more when we had our hearth blocked in – but, as we all know, Santa is magical and can cope with all the problems we cause him!  He never failed to deliver my gifts!

Santa Claus – The Legend

Santa Claus or St Nicholas, Father Christmas or just Santa is a jolly, white haired man with a beard and glasses, he wears a red suit trimmed with white, black boots and belt.  He is often heard to say ho, ho,ho.

He lives at the North Pole, along with his wife, a company of elves  and his much loved reindeer.

The elves spend all year making the toys for the good and well behaved children of the world, Santa spends his time making lists of all he needs and who it is for.  On Christmas Eve, the sleigh is loaded with all the toys, the reindeers, led by Rudolf are hitched to the sleigh and they’re off!

All the toys are delivered from midnight on Christmas Eve to the early hours of Christmas morning, this is all accomplished by good planning, the skill of the reindeer and a good helping of time travel and magic!  This all leaves Santa and his reindeer very short of energy so all those glasses of sherry, mince pies and carrots are very, very appreciated!!
